Irish & Celtic Symbols

Celtic Symbols and their meanings held great importance to everyday life for the Ancient Celts. “Celtic is the term applied to groups of people living in Western Europe, Britain, and Ireland, from 500BC to 400AD. As with most other Iron Age cultures, the Celts lived in small villages ruled by warrior chiefs. Ireland has been home to various civilizations for thousands of years, accumulating rich histories and cultures. These cultures used symbols to mark their jewelry, architecture, goods, and more, creating the base of a modern sense of identity and heritage. When Christians came to these lands, they adopted some of these symbols, making them popular in Christianity as well.
